Two Foot Punch / Fauxkour
February 4th, 2008 by Arc
Alright, with a somewhat “delayed” update, we finally have Two Foot Punch Book Launch listed on our Media Page.
Go check it out, then run out right now and pick up a copy if you haven’t already!
Click here to Purchase “Two Foot Punch” by Anita Daher
Again, we’d would like to personally thank Anita for creating such an amazing book, and giving us the opportunity to be featured in one of the first Parkour themed novels.
In other news, it seems that Anita Daher has yet again set a new trend, as more and more Parkour themed books & novels are being written. Recently, “Jump Derry”, another novel that features Parkour, was written Christine Donovan, and is currently being reviewed for publication.

In other news, we have found out that “Parkour is for French Sissies.” Fauxkour is for real traceurs. (This is a joke)

New Year, New Opportunities!
January 11th, 2008 by Arc
Well, with the new year amongst us, we see Winnipeg Parkour going into it’s biggest year yet.
There are already Winter Videos and Projects planned, Events and Workshops that are being prepared, and new clothing items being made for sale!
Speaking of clothing, or new Limited Edition WPK Hoodies will be finalized and on sale very shortly… more details to come.
Also, the WPK Management has set up a “Winnipeg Parkour History” thread, to show WPK’s heritage through-out the years.
You can view our history here (you must be logged in / registered on our forums to see it): WPK History Thread
We hope everyone have some Happy Holidays this (well, technically speaking.. last) year, and we are eagerly waiting the Summer ‘08 season.
Happy Holidays Everyone!
December 26th, 2007 by Arc
Alright.. I’m a little late on the post, but I want to wish everyone in the Parkour and Freerunning Network Happy & Safe Holidays! - From everyone here at Winnipeg Parkour.
Luckily, the WPK Staff was able to spread a little extra cheer this year. For one, we gave our community a brand new forum! Don’t worry.. all posts and users were transfered over, so don’t panic about losing your WPK Rank.
Also.. we had a special request all the way out in Denmark, for a young up and coming traceur named “Kasper”. When I first got this request, I was amazed that we reached out internationally, so I decided to give our buddy Kasper a free gift:

That’s right, Kasper recieved his very own personallized Winnipeg Parkour Poster and Mousepad! I’m actually quite jealous, since even the team here doesn’t have posters. The poster displays our members Hawk and Vince doing a synced Wall spin, which was beautifully captured by none other than Vince (Trevor Johnsen) himself.
So a special Merry Christmas and best wishes in the future to our buddy “Kasper”, in which one day we hope the WPK Team can fly out to Denmark and experience the Parkour scene over there.
Either way, whether your in Canada, Denmark, China, Italy, or Atlantis… We wish everyone Happy Holidays.
-The WPK Staff
